That was beautiful. I love the love of Ted for Brian. I mean, I've always believed that Ted is closer to Brian than Michael would ever be with Brian. I mean, yeah, Michael is Brian's childhood best friend. But Ted understands Brian more than Michael cos both of them had been through hell even if the experiences were different for each of them. And like said in the fic, Brian trusted Ted so much to let him handle his personal financial affairs as well as business affairs.
And I, like the other commenters above me, love the post-513 Mel and Ted's convo. It's true, isn't it? Without Brian, Mel wouldn't get to be the parent of Gus.
