New Fanfiction Website
Apr. 12th, 2009 08:06 pmHi guys,
I know I've been MIA for a while now, as far as this journal is concerned. I haven't abandoned my fluffy fic, I assure you. It will be completed slowly but surely. Though, you might see some angsty entries from me before the fluff task is completed, since, I'm not a very fluffy person at writing. But I suppose you already know that. :D
Anyways. For the longest time, I'd been planning to collect all my fanfiction and post it to one place, both Star Trek Voyager and Queer as Folk. Previously, my Trek stuff was on three different websites (yes, THREE) and I never got around to making a QAF site -- it was only on LJ. I figured, there had to be a website where I could have all my fandom stuff in one place together. At first, I thought... I'll buy my own domain and make a website from scratch, like I used to do in the old days. Slaving away on Dreamweaver, working on one page after another and another and all that stuff. But my work schedule has been absolutely nuts, and I finally realized that if I waited for RL to slow down enough for me to work on a whole domain, my site would never happen. So I thought, I had to find an easier option.
And then, I came across Google sites. It's a simple WYSIWYG tool that lets you make pages/sites relatively easier without too much technical know-how required. And if you can make a decent enough page, you can migrate that to an actual domain anytime. So I decided to go for that. It was still very time consuming, and I've been at it for the last couple of weeks, but I believe my site is finally in a shape that I can announce it here and elsewhere. :)

There it is --- all my fandom stuff in one place.
